MY TRIP TO VANCOUVER, BC
Summer trips to Vancouver are the best! If you are the kind of person who enjoys nice spring weather (high 60's to low 70's Fahrenheit) then this is one of the many great places to visit during the summer months!

FOOD
In the mood for some awesome Indo-Chinese food? Green Lettuce is your best choice for it! I would definitely recommend ordering their Veggie Egg Fried Rice and Manchurian Chicken. It's a family fave for us!
When you visit Granville Island and you are hungry for some good food, I would recommend visiting a restaurant inside the market called à la Mode. From bubble to to clam chowder, this place has all the good food. I would recommend getting the Chicken Pot Pie. Check out the next image for details.
White Spot is another spot (hehe) where you can joy great food. t's very much along the lines of Swiss Chalet. I would recommend the Fish Tacos when you eat at White Spot.

TRANSPORTATION
The best way to get around in Vancouver is by using their amazing transit system, which for those who live in Atlanta or in any city with bad public transportation will appreciate very much. To get around, you can buy this Compass Card at any station! Note: the deposit for the card is $6 CAD, but you can get the $6 back when you return the card at the Stadium-Chinatown station.
If you have these yellow tickets like we did, you're in luck! These tickets are no longer in use and you can exchange them in for some $$! For the value of each ticket (which is $2.10), you can return these tickets and either get cash back or load that amount onto your Compass card so you can use it on your trip. How convenient!
This map is super helpful! Everything is super accessible from the trains, even buses! Unlike some other train maps, this is really simple and easy to read!

Whenever you get a chance to visit Vancouver, enjoy the view as much as you can. The entire city is bordered by beautiful mountains! One of these set of mountains is called Whistler.
If you enjoy the mountains more than the beach, then Whistler is the perfect place for you to visit when you go to Vancouver! Although I didn't get the chance to go to Whistler this time around on my trip, I can definitely say from personal experience that when you get to the top of Whistler, the view of the mountains is absolutely breathtaking! You may feel like you are looking at the Swiss Alps but in a better price range. For more details, check out their website!
