MY TRIP TO LANCASTER, PA
During my life thus far, I have only heard and seen documentaries about who the Amish are and how they live. When ivisted Lancaster for the first time, I got the amazing opportunity to meet Amish people and see how they live.
Similar to how Amish people are, Lancaster is a very quiet and seemingly peacful city. Things close down by around 8-9pm and you hardly see many people on the highway or the roads. Also, unlike many hustle bustle cities in the U.S. that are prone to bad traffic and angry drivers, the drivers of Lancaster seem to handle road conflict very politely. THEY DON'T HONK AT EACH OTHER! I thought that was pretty amazing.
So if you ever get a chance to visit Lancaster, PA, be sure to not take any of your road rage habits along with you; you won't need them.

This restaurant is right across from the Central Market and is a great place for both lunch and dinner. Their menu is very diverse and delicious! Check out the link below!
This place is part of the Central Market. I would recommend getting their Tapioca Pudding. Getting to the Central Market in the morning is most ideal, because all the food is fresh!
In the mood for some dessert? Get some ice cream from Lapp Vally Farm in Kitchen Kettle Village! Since Lancaster is an Amish town and they have no lack of cattle, you can for sure enjoy a super creamy ice cream made with real milk from local cows! I got the Raspberry flavor on a waffle cone, and it was so good!

TRANSPORTATION
Unfortunately, Lancaster does not have a transit system, so you will have to drive everywhere you go in this city. But as your driving, enjoy the beautiful vast pastures that are filled with cattle and horses!

If you are visiting Penssylvania, I would honestly suggest to just spend about 2 days in Lancaster, solely because there really isn't much to do in the city. One of the big places there is Central Market and it's a great place to explore food and talk to locals!
If you are interested in learning about the Amish people, how they live, and what they do, then Amish Village is a great place to visit during the day!
