MY TRIP TO TORONTO, ONTARIO

Our recent family trip to Toronto was a major success! We went especially to see the Aga Khan Museum and Ismaili Centre. For some of you who may not know, the Aga Khan Museum is an establishment in Toronto that signifies every true principle and attribute of the faith of Islam and also embodies the chracterisitics of Pluralism and Diversity. Islamic culture and history is so rich with art, literature, trade, and knowledge. The prominent area of culture of Islam has been in North Africa, the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Souteastern Asia.

When I visited the museum, I realized that the culture of Islam had such a positive impact on the world at that time. They created scientific methods, revolutionized medicine, created beautiful artwork that was traded around the world, and lived with a positive purpose that enhanced theirs and others lives. Yes there were battles and wars at that time, but when I saw the historic artifacts that have been preserved from past Islamic civilizations, I saw that in some way or another the beauty and positive aura shined through.

Check out my pictures below to see what I saw. And take a trip up to Toronto to see the museum yourself. I can assure you that it will be a very rewarding trip!
